Palacio Del Mar is a small, quiet neighborhood in the southeast region of San Clemente, California, that is located in the hills overlooking the ocean and city.
Palacio Del mar is comprised of 40 single family homes that offer a variety of floor plans. The Aegean model has 2,000 square feet, two bedrooms, two baths, and a two-car garage. The largest model, the Caspian, has 2,735 square feet, three bedrooms, two baths, and a three-car garage. These lots are medium sized, and many improvements have been made in recent years. Streets that run through this tract include Avenida Buenos Aires, Avenida Acapulco, and Avenida Del Verdo.
There are several highly ranked schools that serve this area, such as Concordia Elementary School, Shorecliffs Middle School, and San Clemente High School. Palacio Del Mar is close to freeway access, as well as many stores and restaurants. The Outlets at San Clemente is an outdoor shopping center that offers 70 merchants.
San Clemente has some of the least expensive ocean front property in Orange County. It is known for its ocean views, mild climate, and Spanish Colonial architecture. The city slogan is “Spanish Village by the Sea.” It is also one of the best surfing cities, because of the year-long swells. Top employers include the Capistrano Unified School District, ICU Medical, the city administration, and Cross Section Ventures.
